Aldo Ciccolini

French pianist born in Naples in 1925, is a reference for a vastly varied repertoire thanks to his over 100 recordings for EMI.
Honored with awards such as the Edison Prize, the French Legion d’Honneur and the Order of Merit, he has collaborated with artists such as Furtwängler, Stravinsky, Ansermet, Celibidache, Mitropoulos, Münch, Maazel, Kleiber... besides having had a close contact with legendary musicians like Cortot, Long, Thibaud, Villa Lobos, Mompou, Ginastera, and many others.
Having been a professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris he has taught various generations of the most referential concert pianists in France, giving each and every one of them an inspiring vision of music, art, philosophy, psychology and life.

Jean-Yves Thibaudet

French pianist and pupil of Aldo Ciccolini, is one of the most sought-after pianists by today’s foremost orchestras, festivals, conductors and collaborative musicians for his enlightened interpretations and charisma.

Hailed as “one of the best pianists in the world” he has received the Title of Officier of l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres, the Premio Pegasus from the Spoleto Festival, the Victoire d’Honneur (lifetime career achievement) at the Victoires de la Musique and has been inducted at the Hall of Fame of the Hollywood Bowl.
